HOMEMADE TURMERIC LATTE

Turmeric latte is a comforting, soothing and delicious drink - a great way to include this ancient spice into your diet.

Ingredients

1/2 cup coconut or almond milk

1/2 tsp of ground turmeric

Pinch of black pepper ( to enhance the absorption and bioavailability of turmeric’s active compounds)

Sprinkle of cinnamon

Method

Add all ingredients to a pan and heat on the stove!

Scientific evidence demonstrates the potent anti-inflammatory, immune modulating and antioxidant effects of its active compounds (mainly Curcumin). Keep in mind that most of the studies carried out use large quantities of Curcumin to demonstrate its therapeutic effects.
